Bokko uses SMS quota only for SMS reminders. Every other booking lifecycle notification — request, confirmation, cancellation, decline — goes by email.
Buying an SMS package
If the base quota is not enough, you can buy an SMS package on the My subscription page. One unit is 50 SMS / month, and you can buy several units — your monthly quota increases permanently by that amount.
- Open My subscription in the dashboard. (This menu item only appears once you have an active paid subscription.)
- Find the SMS Package section.
- Use the stepper to set how many units you want (one unit is 50 SMS/month).
- On the confirmation panel, check the expected prorated amount and your new monthly fee.
- Confirm the change.
Tracking usage
In the same section, above the purchase controls, you find the SMS quota bar: it shows how much of your monthly quota you have used. If the quota runs out, this is where you see that reminders switched to email.
