Account reset is not the same as account deletion. Reset removes operational business data, such as bookings and guest records, but keeps the business profile and setup structure.
When reset is useful
- After testing: Remove trial bookings before going live.
- Fresh start: Start again without rebuilding the full business setup.
- After bad operational data: Clear the day-to-day data instead of cleaning records one by one.
How the reset flow works
- 1. Preview: Bokko first counts the data that would be deleted.
- 2. Confirmation: The reset only runs after an explicit confirmation step.
- 3. Execution: Bokko deletes the reset-scoped collections and keeps the business profile and setup-related configuration.
WarningReset is final. Deleted operational data cannot be restored, so export anything you still need first.
What is deleted
- Bookings in the business
- Guest records stored under the business
- Other reset-scoped operational collections tied to day-to-day usage
What stays
- The business profile and core document
- Business profile and setup-related settings
- Services
- Members and roles
- Subscription document and plan state
TipReset is a two-step operation in the backend: preview first, execution second.
