Deleting your account and exporting data

If you want to permanently delete your Bokko account, this article explains the current deletion request flow, blockers and export process.

Bokko handles account deletion through a deletion-request workflow. You can request deletion from the account area, and the system then checks whether the request can move forward immediately or must stay blocked until the open issues are resolved.

How deletion works now

  • 1. Submit the request: In the dashboard, open Account and click Delete account.
  • 2. Pre-check: Bokko checks whether the account is ready for deletion.
  • 3. If the account is clean: The request is created with an export window, and the status becomes auto-approved.
  • 4. If blockers exist: The request stays in a blocked state until the blocking issues are resolved, or an admin reviews it.
  • 5. Final execution: Permanent deletion is executed only after the request reaches the approved stage and the export window ends.

Export your data

  1. In the dashboard, open Account.
  2. Click Export data.
  3. Bokko prepares a JSON export of your salon data.
  4. We send a signed download link to the email address linked to your account.

The export includes your bookings and guest records. The download link is time-limited.

Blocking conditions

  • Active bookings: Confirmed or otherwise active bookings still exist.
  • Active subscription: The current subscription is still active.
  • Export in progress: A data export is already running.
  • Active non-owner members: Admin or staff members are still attached to the salon.
  • Open dispute: A payment dispute is still open.
  • Open incident or retention hold: A legal or operational hold is still active.
InfoThe request does not delete the account immediately. Bokko stores a deletion-request status and continues the process only when the current conditions allow it.
WarningPermanent deletion is irreversible. Export anything you still need before the approved export window ends.
