An activity profile (e.g., hairdresser, cosmetician, massage therapist) determines what default settings and categories Bokko suggests during initial setup. This is not a rigid classification but a tool to help personalize the system.
How it works
During setup, and later on the Business Data page, you can choose one or more activity types. Based on this, the system:
- Suggests the most common service categories.
- Pre-fills onboarding choices and setup hints more accurately.
- Provides relevant tips on the dashboard according to your profession.
Modifying your profile
- Open the Business Data page.
- Find the Activity Profile section.
- Select the categories that best describe your business.
- Click the Save button.
InfoIf you work in a field not listed, select the 'Other provider' option. Bokko uses this as an onboarding hint, not as a fixed public marketplace category.
