Service templates let new providers skip adding services one by one. Pick an industry template and Bokko creates a full base catalogue in a single step, with typical durations and a category — you can then freely edit, extend or remove individual services.
When to use them
The template picker is the primary action of the setup wizard's Services phase: Start from a template. If you prefer adding services one by one, the secondary action (manual entry) is also available. Templates are best applied at the start — once you have several custom services, manual editing is faster.
Available templates
Templates appear in two sections inside the picker dialog.
Common industries: Hairdresser starter pack, Barber starter pack, Cosmetics starter pack, Nails starter pack, Massage starter pack.
Additional templates: Tattoo starter pack (consultation-first), Pet grooming starter pack, Personal trainer starter pack.
Applying a template
- Open the Setup screen in the dashboard.
- In the Services phase, click Start from a template.
- In the Pick an industry template dialog, choose the template that fits your business.
- Optionally enable Apply opening-hours preset if you want the matching default opening hours to be applied as well.
- Optionally enable Apply accent-colour preset if you want the matching default accent colour to be applied as well.
- Click Start with the … template to finalise.
How the capacity limit works
The number of active services is bounded by your plan limit. Template application is all-or-nothing: if the template's services would not fit within the remaining slots, the application is aborted entirely — no service is created. In that case, either delete some existing services or move up a plan before trying again.
Applying a template twice
If you apply the same template twice, Bokko recognises items that were already created and does not produce duplicates. Services from the earlier application remain untouched.
After applying
- Open the Services page in the dashboard.
- Set prices on the services the template created.
- Delete items you do not offer and add your own where needed.
- If you enabled the opening-hours preset, review and confirm it on the Opening hours page.
- If you enabled the accent-colour preset, review it on the Branding page.
