For every service, you decide how the price appears on your booking page. Bokko has three pricing types; guests see the result when they pick the service and in the booking summary.
Pricing types
| Type | What you enter | What guests see | When to use it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fixed | Exact price | The amount, for example “8,000 HUF”. | When you know the exact price upfront — most services. |
| From | Starting price | The starting price marked “from”, for example “from 8,000 HUF”. | When the final price depends on effort (hair length, size, extras). |
| On request | No price | “Price on request”. | Bespoke work where no price can be quoted upfront and you agree it directly with the guest. |
For a free service (consultation, trial session), turn on the Free service switch in Fixed mode: guests see “Free” and pay 0 HUF.
Setting the price
- In the dashboard, open Services and click the service row.
- Under Pricing, choose the type: Fixed, From or On request.
- In Fixed mode, fill in Fixed price; in From mode, fill in Starting price. On request has no price field.
- Save the service. The new price appears on your booking page right away.
Services created from a template
The quick-start template creates services without a price, in On request mode, because only you know your prices. Guests see “Price on request” for these. On the Services list, active services bookable online that have no price carry a No price label.
What the pricing type affects
- Percentage deposit: can only be calculated from a Fixed or From price. For an On request service, set a fixed-amount deposit in Booking rules.
- Completing a booking: with From and On request pricing, you must enter the Final price at completion. Until then, the booking stays in the Awaiting final price section of the Requests page.
- Discount codes and gift cards: guests cannot redeem a discount or gift card on an On request service, or on a booking that includes one, because there is no amount to deduct from.
