Adding services

Services define what guests can book, how long each appointment takes, and whether the service is visible online.

Only active services can appear in Bokko, and only active online-bookable services appear on the public booking page. Each service stores its duration, price and optional booking buffers.

Add a new service

  1. In the dashboard, open Services.
  2. Click New service.
  3. Enter the service name.
  4. Set the duration and price.
  5. Optionally add a short description.
  6. Optionally set buffer time before or after the appointment.
  7. If categories exist, choose a category.
  8. Decide whether the service should be online bookable.
  9. Save the service.

Categories and visibility

Services can be grouped into categories, and you can also keep a service active without showing it on the public booking page by turning off online booking for that service.

TipThis is useful for internal-only services or services you do not want guests to book directly.

Activate, deactivate, edit or delete

  1. Open the service row to edit it.
  2. Use the switch to activate or deactivate the service.
  3. Use the action menu if you want to delete it.
WarningThe number of active services can be limited by your current plan.
