Bokko is continuously evolving: new features, improvements, and fixes are added to the system. These are not communicated on a separate page or in a newsletter, but directly inside the dashboard on the Version updates screen — so you always have at hand what changed in the interface you actually use.
What you see on the screen
A short intro is shown at the top of the screen: "Find Bokko's important product updates, new features, and fixes here." Below it, each release is displayed on a separate card, with the latest release on top.
Every release card includes the following:
- Version number (e.g. Bokko Beta v0.4.0) and the release date (month + year format).
- A short title and summary describing the focus of the release.
- One or more detail blocks grouping the actual changes.
Change groups
Within a release, changes are split into four types — only the ones with actual content are shown:
- New — features introduced in this release.
- Improved — existing features that were extended or polished.
- Fixed — bug fixes.
- User action — anything you may need to configure or review after the update (if there is no action required, this line is hidden).
When to use it
- Open the dashboard, then go to the Version updates menu.
- Read the latest release card: title, summary, then the New / Improved / Fixed sections.
- If the User action section is visible, follow the indicated step (e.g. open the Billing page to review a new plan option).
- Scroll down for older releases if you want to look back at earlier changes.
Empty state
If no release has been published yet, the screen shows: "No published version updates yet." and "The most important Bokko updates will appear here." In this case there is nothing to do — new content will appear automatically with the next release.
What you will NOT find here
- Detailed developer changelog or internal technical changes — only user-relevant updates are listed.
- Marketing or pricing content — Version updates shows product changes only.
- Business-specific notifications (e.g. new booking, guest message) — those appear on the relevant dashboard screens, not here.
