If a guest's bank starts a chargeback against a deposit paid through Bokko, you can download a structured evidence package from the booking details to support your response.
When this is useful
- A guest's bank filed a chargeback.
- You need to show that the guest accepted the cancellation rules.
- You need to document the circumstances of the deposit payment.
Download the evidence package
- Open the affected booking in the dashboard.
- Click Download dispute evidence in the booking details.
- Bokko generates a JSON file and a signed download link valid for 15 minutes.
- Download the file from that link and attach it to the documentation you send to the bank.
InfoThe evidence package includes booking details, the accepted cancellation policy text and timestamp, deposit payment history, and the timing of related communications such as confirmations and reminders.
Data protection
Every evidence export is logged in the salon audit log. Generated files are automatically deleted from the server after 24 hours, and every new export request creates a fresh short-lived link.
