Reporting a bug

How to send an in-app bug report in Bokko, what information is required, when an optional screenshot helps, and what happens after submission.

Bokko includes an in-app bug report screen in the dashboard. Use it when something is broken, inconsistent, or behaves differently from what you expect.

What you need to fill in

FieldRequired
DescriptionYes
SeverityYes
Screenshot or image attachmentOptional

The description must not be empty, and Bokko also requires you to choose a severity level before the report can be submitted.

Severity levels

  • Blocker for a serious problem that stops work completely
  • Major for an important bug with strong impact
  • Minor for a smaller functional issue
  • Cosmetic for visual or wording issues

When to attach an image

A screenshot or image can help when the problem is visual or hard to describe. On web, Bokko lets you attach an image file before submission.

WarningIf image upload fails, Bokko lets you continue without the attachment. Image type and size are checked before the final report is stored.

What Bokko sends with the report

Besides the text you enter, Bokko can attach useful diagnostic context such as the current route, viewport size, locale and client-side timestamp. This helps reproduce the problem more accurately.

What happens after submission

After a successful submission, Bokko stores the report under the salon, logs an internal ops event, and makes the report visible in the admin bug report view. The form is then cleared.

If the submission fails because of a temporary network or unknown problem, Bokko can offer a retry action.
