External calendar subscription link (iCal feed)

Generate a private subscription link so your own Bokko bookings appear in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook — a one-way, read-only feed.

The external calendar subscription link is a private URL that makes the bookings assigned to you in Bokko visible in your chosen calendar app (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook). This is a one-way, read-only feed: your Bokko bookings appear in the external calendar, but the external calendar never writes back to Bokko. If you need two-way sync with Google Calendar, use the separate Google Calendar integration instead.

InfoThis link covers your own bookings — every staff member has their own separate link. As owner or administrator, you can also manage another staff member's link if you have the integrations management permission.

Generate a link

  1. Open the My calendar sync page in the dashboard (or, if you are managing another staff member's link, open their staff profile).
  2. Find the External calendar subscription link card.
  3. Click the Generate link button.
  4. Bokko will show the full URL once, in a dialog. Copy it and store it securely — we will not show it again.
WarningWe show the full link only once and never store it. If you lose it we cannot recover it — you will need to generate a new link, which invalidates the old one.

Add the link to your calendar app

AppWhere to add it
iPhoneSettings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar → paste the URL.
Mac (Calendar)Calendar → File → New Calendar Subscription → paste the URL.
Google CalendarSettings → Add other calendars → From URL → paste the URL.
Outlook (web)Add calendar → Subscribe from web → paste the URL.
TipCalendar apps typically refresh subscribed calendars hourly or daily — not instantly. A newly approved booking will not appear in the external calendar immediately.

Replace or disable the link

Once you have an active link, you can choose between two actions:

  1. Generate new link — the current link becomes invalid and any connected external calendar subscriptions stop syncing. The new link is also shown only once. Use this if the link may have leaked or you lost it.
  2. Disable link — the subscription link becomes invalid and no new link is generated. Subscribed events will disappear from the external calendar on its next sync. If you want it back later, generate a new link.

Privacy and security

The link grants access to the feed on its own — no username or password is required. Anyone who knows the link can see a summary of the bookings assigned to you. The feed contains the service name and the guest's short name, but it does not contain the guest's email address or phone number.

WarningDo not share the link in public places, do not forward it through chat apps, and do not publish it. If you suspect it has leaked, click Generate new link — the old one becomes invalid immediately.
