Bokko's Google Calendar integration can do two related jobs: it can push Bokko bookings into connected Google Calendars, and it can use connected staff calendars for availability blocking. Bokko only reads busy times from staff calendars — never the event titles or contents.
InfoGoogle Calendar sync is available from the Starter plan.
Turn sync on
- In the dashboard, open Integrations.
- Click Connect Google Calendar for the business calendar if you want Bokko bookings to be pushed there.
- If a staff member should use their own Google Calendar for availability blocking or booking writes, open that staff member's calendar section and connect it from their own user account.
- Approve the requested Google access.
- After the connection is active, new upcoming bookings can sync to Google Calendar, and connected staff calendars can also affect availability blocking.
TipCalendar sync starts from the moment you connect. Previously created bookings are not synced to Google Calendar retroactively.
How the sync works
| What happens | Direction | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| A staff member connects their own Google Calendar | Google to Bokko | Busy times can block availability for that staff member without exposing event details |
| A Bokko booking is approved | Bokko to Google | The booking is pushed to the staff member's Google Calendar or the business calendar, depending on your push mode |
| A Bokko booking is cancelled or rescheduled | Bokko to Google | The synced calendar event is updated or removed |
Disconnect sync
- Open Integrations.
- Click Disconnect Google Calendar on the connection you want to remove.
- Before the disconnect is confirmed, Bokko can warn you if some future synced Google Calendar events may remain there after the connection ends.
- After disconnecting, previously synced Bokko bookings remain in Google Calendar, but new booking writes stop on that disconnected calendar.
