The Google Calendar integration provides two-way sync. Approved bookings from Bokko appear in Google Calendar, and events already stored in Google can block time slots on your booking page.
Turn sync on
- In the dashboard, open Settings → Integrations.
- Click Connect Google Calendar.
- A Google sign-in window opens. Choose the Google account whose calendar you want to sync.
- Allow Bokko to access your calendar.
- The sync becomes active, and your past and upcoming bookings appear in Google Calendar within a few seconds.
TipThe sync is designed for future bookings. Older calendar events are not imported back into Bokko retroactively.
How the two-way sync works
| What happens | Direction | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| A Bokko booking is approved | Bokko to Google | An event appears in Google Calendar |
| A Google Calendar event is added | Google to Bokko | That slot becomes unavailable in Bokko and guests cannot book it |
| A Bokko booking is cancelled | Bokko to Google | The event is removed from Google Calendar |
Disconnect sync
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Click Disconnect Google Calendar.
- After disconnecting, previously synced Bokko bookings remain in Google Calendar, but new ones stop syncing.
