Blocked slots define one-time, multi-day or weekly recurring periods during which Bokko does not offer appointments to guests. They are useful when you want to keep your weekly opening hours unchanged but close off a day off, a meeting or maintenance.
Add a blocked slot
- In the dashboard, open Opening hours.
- Switch to the Blocked slots tab.
- Click Add blocked slot.
- Choose a type: Blocked time, Cleaning, disinfection, Meeting, Technical break or Time off.
- Under Time, set the Start and End.
- Under Date, pick Single day or Multiple days. Multiple days needs a Start date and an End date.
- For a single-day block, choose the Recurrence: Once or Weekly. Multi-day blocks do not repeat.
- Click Add.

TipDo not add a lunch break as a blocked slot: set it on the Opening hours tab as a break (+ break). The app recommends this too, so Lunch break cannot be chosen for a new block.
InfoThese blocks apply to the whole business. Team members’ own blocks appear in the Calendar.
InfoThe block type only changes the label and colour shown on your calendar — every type blocks bookings the same way, so pick whichever helps you read your own calendar.
InfoBlocked slots appear in the day timeline and remove those times from the available booking slots.
Weekly repeating blocks
Bokko keeps a weekly repeating block active for all future weeks automatically. For example, you can mark a meeting every Wednesday from 14:00 to 15:00 without recreating it each week.
InfoA repeating block starts from the day you selected when creating it. If you delete it, all future occurrences are removed as well.
Edit or delete a blocked slot
- Open the Blocked slots tab of Opening hours.
- Click an existing blocked slot card, make your changes, then click Save.
- To remove it completely, use the delete icon and confirm with Delete.
- After deletion, that time becomes available for booking again.
WarningOvernight blocks are not supported. If a closure would run from the evening into the next morning, add it as two separate blocks. Start and end cannot be the same time either.
