Each staff member can either follow the salon's opening hours or use a separate custom weekly schedule. Bokko also lets you add one-off schedule exceptions for specific dates.
Open the staff schedule screen
- Open the staff member's detail screen.
- Use the Schedule action.
- Review the inheritance setting, weekly hours and exceptions.
Inheriting salon opening hours
If According to business opening hours is enabled, that staff member follows the salon-level opening hours. In that case Bokko does not store a separate weekly working-hours table for the staff profile.
Custom weekly working hours
If you turn inheritance off, Bokko switches to a custom weekly schedule. You can then decide per weekday whether the staff member is available and, if the day is open, set opening and closing times for that day.
Date-based exceptions
Exceptions let you override the normal schedule for one specific date.

| Custom hours | Replaces the normal schedule on that date with a custom opening and closing time |
You can optionally add a note to the exception. Existing exceptions are listed on the same screen and can be deleted individually.
Saving changes
Use Save in the app bar after changing inheritance or weekly hours. Exception creation and deletion are handled as their own actions from the exceptions section.
