Connecting Barion payments

How to connect Barion in Bokko with your POSKey, what Bokko verifies during setup, and what the status card means after the connection is created.

You can connect Barion from the Integrations page. Bokko uses this connection for Barion-based online payment flows and verifies your POSKey before it saves the connection.

What you need before you start

  • You need access to the Integrations page as the salon owner.
  • You need your Barion POSKey.
  • The POSKey must be in UUID format.

The setup form in Bokko points you to the payment account settings in the Barion dashboard, where you can copy the POSKey.

Connect Barion

  1. Open Integrations in the dashboard.
  2. Find the Barion card and click Connect Barion.
  3. Paste your POSKey.
  4. Click Connect Barion to save the connection.
WarningIf the POSKey format is invalid, Bokko blocks the submission. If the format is valid but Barion does not accept it, Bokko also stops the setup.

What Bokko verifies

Bokko does not blindly save the POSKey. During setup it performs a live verification against Barion. Only a verified POSKey can be stored as a pending Barion connection.

After the connection is created, Bokko can verify it again during activation. If the POSKey is no longer valid, the activation is blocked until you reconnect the Barion account.

What you see after setup

Barion connections appear on the Barion card with a status badge. Bokko can show an active connection, pending connections, and a short list of archived connections.

  • A newly created Barion connection starts as pending until it is activated.
  • An active Barion connection shows its current status on the card.
  • Archived connections stay visible in a separate archived section for reference.

Capabilities and advanced approval

After a successful activation, Bokko can enable standard Barion checkout and refund capabilities on the connection. Some advanced card-on-file and off-session charge capabilities depend on separate Barion approval and may stay disabled until that approval exists.
