Approvals and rejections are part of the daily workflow when you use manual confirmation. This article explains what happens after you click each action, both for you and for the guest.
After approval
- The guest receives an email with the confirmed time, service and location.
- If SMS credit is available, Bokko also sends an SMS.
- The appointment is added to the calendar and to synced Google Calendar if that integration is active.
- The automatic reminder is sent 24 hours before the appointment.
After rejection
- The guest receives an email about the rejection, including your reason if you entered one.
- The request disappears from the pending list.
- The time slot becomes free again and another guest can book it.
WarningA rejection cannot be undone. If you change your mind afterward, create the appointment manually with the manual booking flow.
Cancel an approved booking
- Click the approved booking in the calendar.
- Click Cancel.
- The guest receives a cancellation email.
