If you have a connected external calendar, an already confirmed Bokko booking can end up overlapping an event you added there — a meeting you put in your own calendar afterwards, for example. Bokko detects this, notifies you, and gives you a dedicated screen to resolve it.
Where you see it
- Under Calendar conflicts in the left menu, as a list.
- In the calendar, the affected booking shows a Calendar conflict marker.
- On the booking itself, as a banner: “Conflicts with the staff member's external calendar.” — with a Resolve button next to it.
- You also get a notification: “Calendar conflict with booking”.
What a conflict shows
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Booking time | The start and end of the Bokko booking. |
| External calendar event | The overlapping event from the connected calendar. If Bokko cannot see its title, it appears as (Private time block). |
| Overlap | Partial overlap or Full overlap — how much of the booking the event covers. |
| Staff | Whose calendar the conflict is in. |
(Private time block). You have three options
- Propose new time — send the guest a reschedule proposal. Until they respond, the conflict stays in “Reschedule proposed, awaiting response”.
- Cancel booking — cancel the appointment. The guest receives a cancellation email.
- Ignore — the conflict record is closed and no further notifications are sent about it. You can add an optional reason. Both the booking and the external event stay as they are.
Open external event takes you straight to the conflicting event in your own calendar, and Open booking opens the Bokko booking.
When the list is empty
“No open conflicts.” means your bookings and the connected external calendars do not overlap. If you have no connected calendar at all, the screen offers a Connect calendar button that takes you to the Integrations page.
